Such a long winded piece last week, so let’s keep this one more digestible, just in time for the seasonal gluttony. You are working on chocolates and nog, aren’t you? Calories to spare for the Winter.
At the start of the month, the Sun aspected the Jupiter / Neptune trine, stirring up potential for grand power schemes, and the too-often attendant scandals. It’s only wrong if you get caught, right? Well, at the scene of every crime, there are traces, always traces, especially if you know what to look for. One quick, too-obvious example is the Ukraine. Yushchenko, the dioxin-poisoned opposition leader, not only got to live but to look forward to a hopefully clean re-election.

Too bad the same couldn’t be said about the US election. Sure, Kerry was so lack-lustre as to be political poison, but this was the first time in the country’s history to have international voting monitors. Still, there were 30,000 "election incidents". Voting machines didn’t work. In six swing states, 181,000 dead were registered. In some very close races, thousands of ballots were counted twice. In one precinct in Ohio, voting machines tallied 3,893 votes for one candidate when only 638 voted! Ah, the power of big money. That’s Jupiter, Daddy Big Bucks, working behind the scenes with nefarious, nebulous Neptune.

This week, it’s Mercury, the backward Messenger, aspecting these two. Expect more dirt to be dug up and flung, probably in all directions so as to confuse the sources, as well as the senses. No wonder many will tune out. So many already have in the US it appears, with 1 in 7 children on prescription medications (many for ‘behavioural problems’), and 2 of 5 adults the same. That’s just the legal stuff!
It’s so interesting what you can find in the news these days. Or, do you really want to know? Probably you should give your brain a rest for the next few weeks. Curl up with close ones in front of the hearth instead. Catch a movie or get lost in a good book. ‘Tis definitely the season for this.

This Week Dec 13: Mr Premature finally gets back on track after next Sunday. Mercury will have done enough damage to what you thought was up this time around. Yesterday’s enthusiasm, Mercury sextile Jupiter, needs a rethink and a wonder by Tuesday, as he is sextile Neptune. Sobriety, hopefully not the hard way, and maybe a little sanity, settles in by Friday.

The Sun gets giddy through midweek but won’t know why or what for until Thursday, when the bills come in. By then, who cares? Venus won’t. Yeah, while daddy pays, the kiddies go play. By Sunday, as the Sun aspects Neptune, there will be one more example of the expendability of bosses, leaders, and those who take charge. Those that know, can’t say; those that say, couldn’t do.

Monday and Sunday, 13 and 19 December. (Forget the Moon for this one. Venus first, then Mars, in Scorpio trine Saturn. 25-26 degrees of All Signs)If you’re in, you’re in. If you’re out, you’re not getting in, OK? Saturn is a decision maker, a decider and definer. Venus and Mars together relate to personal affairs. Simply put, whatever you have lately set your personal sights on, either there is a definite nod in your direction, or forget it. Either it goes or it doesn’t.

Tuesday, 14 December. (Moon in Aquarius. Retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius sextile Neptune. 13 degrees of All Signs)Night and fog. You are the one blowing smoke, or you’re walking in shadows. Take time to rethink where you are. Take a mental holiday, go on auto-pilot, and let the inspirations, not the nightmares, come to you.

Tuesday through Thursday, 14-16 December. (Moon through Aquarius. Sun in late Sagittarius aspecting Uranus / Neptune, then Jupiter / Uranus, then Mars / Saturn. 23-25 Mut, 8-10 Fix)Like so many other indicators mentioned above, this is not to be pushed, sought, fought for, or forced. In other words, learn to sit back and let this come to you. The more you do, the better Jupiter / Uranus is a delightful present, not a nasty surprise. Then, the Mars / Saturn is a refreshing cleanup, not harsh dues.Thursday, 16 December. (Moon in the lucky end of Aquarius. Venus in Sagittarius aspects Jupiter. 0 Mut, 15 Card)If there is a go-signal for the Monday / Sunday thing (above), this is it. Dare to demand! The trines set conditions. This is the push that makes the move up or onward. Either way, you win by not wasting time.

Friday, 17 December. (Moon in Pisces. Mercury so slow in Sagittarius aspecting Saturn. 11 Mut, 26 Card)Come to a full stop before you take your turn. This pause will refresh the view of all you survey. You must clarify before you proceed. Small, testing steps at first, sure, but when there’s this much black ice on your horizon, that’s good progress. The road clears more next week, Tuesday.

Sunday, 19 December. (Moon in Aries. Venus in Sagittarius square Uranus. 3 Mut, 18 Card) Stay stuck in the pit and moan, or get silly in a bigger sandbox. New blood, new places, getting out of the same old same-old, you need to shake this rattle to make it work.(Sun, past the nasty Galactic Centre Friday, so late in Sagittarius as to be Capricorn, aspects Neptune and Mercury / Jupiter. 28 Mut, 13 Fix) What a propaganda campaign! What bovine poopie! Anyone setting terms, making demands under this array should have what’s left of their head examined. This is for surveying, sizing up, casual shopping if anything, not sullying. Drift and dream now, so you won’t wonder and worry later.

If you want the "horrible-scopes", go somewhere else. If you want the meaning behind them, stay on.

Mid-heaven relate to matters in your personal life. Use it to see what's in your mind.
Moon relate to matters in your emotional life. Use it to see what's in your heart.
