John Rutherford's
Check Your Chart, for the Week of 30 May 2005
This Week: When is tension and aggravation not so? When you can’t see
it. When it sits behind the scenes, or is muffled, stifled,
side-tracked, or coming from so many directions that there is no
apparent source. But, through this week and the next, believe it is
there. Oh, it’s there, and it will become apparent.
Believe it or else, all gets dumped onto Monday-Tuesday. Monday starts
all right, but a cramp, mental or whatever, sets in by mid-day. Then,
we’re on through Tuesday, with light entertainment hitting some funny
bones by the evening. Hopefully, it hits yours.
“Whaa… ?” You’ll start to figure it out, if you can concentrate,
Wednesday. Mind-sets still need revision Thursday, while rampant
speculation is the ‘word’ for Friday. Steady and persistent it is
Saturday, while beautiful dreams get your Sunday going.
Monday – Tuesday, 30-31 May. (Moon in Pisces. Sun trine Jupiter,
aspects the Saturn – Uranus – Neptune complex. 9-10 Mut, 24-25 Card and
17 Fix, 2 Card)
This trine to Jupiter does not help, but supports the core of the
complex, the developing Saturn – Uranus aspect, exact next week
Saturday. Saturn is rigid and bound, Uranus is loosey-goosey, hence
“tension”. Neptune gets into the mix, rendering the whole mix (mess?)
tucked back from being obvious. Do not think it’s gone. It’s there and
working like little bugs (Neptune) under the skin of Saturn’s propriety.
The Sun square Uranus would normally loosen this tight collar, and
works well for those open to personal revelation and change, but most
will not. Most can’t wake to the need. What to do? One, steer
emotionally clear. Two, adjust wherever you can. Three, stay out of
this soon-to-be-boiling political cauldron.
If by chance you are one of the major players, you really missed
something. Your course cannot be stayed, though it may be late for the
easy changes, and many of them are probably out of your control.
Pullback is a problem, so overhaul is due over the next two to three
months. Gee, this sounds like Iraq.
Wednesday - Thursday, 1-2 June. (Moon in Aries. Mercury aspects Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus. 9-10 Mut, 24-25 Card)
Oh, you’re gonna hear about it, one way or another. Mercury triggers
what the Sun just set up. Mercury is the Mouth, the verbal releaser.
Hopefully this means the ‘talk’ is deep within, where ‘the rational’ is
thought, not just a blabbing away to others.
Friday, 3 June. (Moon in Taurus. Mercury aligns with the Sun, and Jupiter / Neptune. 12-13 Mut, 27-28 Card)
Mercury throws ‘criticism’ into ‘rapport and relating’. Whew,
thankfully. While ‘the many’ can sit around and speculate what went
right or wrong, only self-questing finds workable answers and
solutions. This means personal change, if you dare. Blaming others
avoids solution.
Saturday, 4 June. (Moon in Taurus. Mars trine Saturn. 25 degrees of All Signs)
For best speed, go slow and steady. A slip could break something, so secure your striving.
Sunday, 5 June. (Moon in Gemini. Mercury and Venus aspect Neptune. 2 Card, 17 Fix)
Venus wants to hold onto water and smoke. The caterpillar puffs a
hookah, conjuring a pipe dream. Savour as entertainment, not the real
thing. And, who bends your ear with trivia and the unworkable?
(Jupiter stationary in Libra. 8-9 Card, 23-24 Fix) Quiet contemplation.
Extras? Good Luck? You have what you have and can build on that. That
is good.
If you want the "horrible-scopes", go somewhere else. If you want the meaning behind them, stay on.
Is your Number up? Check Your Four Personal Points for every day. If the numbers match, this day is for you.
Each forecast shows: the Moon Sign, the Planetary Aspect, and Numbers of degrees in Signs for the Planetary Aspect.
The Moon Sign is the Sign the Moon is in for that day. The Moon Sign
gives advantage to the Sign it is in, puts extra pressure on the
opposite Sign, and tends to cross up or neutralise the Signs at right
angles. For example, with Fixed Signs, if the Moon is in Taurus, Taurus
has the advantage, Scorpio gets challenged, and Leo and Aquarius get
shifted or crossed up.
The Planetary Aspect is where action is released. It's the Excuse.
Unlike daily Horoscopes that suggest each day has the same level of
influence, this is the core of changes in the daily energies.
The Sign Numbers are the degrees in the Signs of the Zodiac being
emphasised. If the degree for any day is close to any degree of Your
Four Personal Points (see below), within a degree or so, THIS IS YOUR
DAY. Pay extra ATTENTION.
You may have several days in the week activated for you, or you may
have none. As a degree hits one of Your Four Personal Points, the
forecast tells about the important things in your life. The daily
forecasts tell you when. The overall story comes through over time.
Sooner or later, the degrees of the Forecast catch up to you.
Your Four Personal Points are, in order of importance:
The Ascendant, the Mid-heaven, the Moon, and the Sun.
These are the most important Points of your Horoscope, calculated from
your birth date, your birth-place, and the time of day you drew your
first breath. The first two Personal Points, the Ascendant and
Mid-heaven, are the points that fix the Earth in space for your birth
time at your specific birth place. We live on the Earth, not the Sun or
the Moon. The Ascendant, also called Your Rising Sign, is more
important than your Sun Sign.
Simply, and generally only, forecasts that affect your:
Ascendant relate to matters in your environment. Use it to see what's in your "face".
Mid-heaven relates to matters in your personal life. Use it to see what's in your mind.
Moon relates to matters in your emotional life. Use it to see what's in your heart.
Sun relates to matters in your physical life. Use it to see what's in your core.
The Signs of the Zodiac are:
Card: Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
Fix: Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
Mut: Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
Heaven, Help Us! The forecast is the mood of the moment. For example, if it rains, we all get wet, no matter what "Sign" we are.
If you like this forecast, let others know. SEND IT TO THEM. If you
have comments or questions, LET ME KNOW. Check Your Four Personal
Points each week if any of them is targeted, and... PAY ATTENTION!

Several of you still ask about Your Four Personal Points and
what they have to do with this forecast. You’ve done some of your
homework, you know about the Planets, maybe something about aspects,
and you might even be OK with the “Mutable-Fixed” stuff.
You can figure out Cardinal-Fixed-Mutable Signs for your Sun and Moon,
but there’s still a problem with “the degrees” and especially with
regard to the Ascendant and Midheaven. What the heck are they?
Let me first ask, “Where do you live? Is it on the Sun or the Moon?” Of
course not. One is ferociously too hot, the other way too cold and
barren. We all live here on Mother Earth, our support and sustainer.
And, the Earth rotates full circle on its axis every day. In fact, that
is the meaning of “a day”.
From our point of view, the Sun returns to the same place in the
Heavens at the same time every day. What this means is that, again from
our point of view, the Earth has spun around, rotated completely
through the entire Zodiac.
What was rising at dawn, the Sign on that Eastern Horizon, for the
moment you were born (the exact time of day) will be at the Noon-line,
right overhead, at noon. It will be dropping over the Western Horizon
about 12 hours after your birth, and later it will be directly below
you at the middle of the night, midnight.
This Rising Sign would be the same as your Sun Sign, the Sign the Sun
was in the month you were born, if, and only if, you were born at Sun
Rise, dawn. Few of us are. Most of us are born at some other time of
day. This means you cannot know what your Rising Sign is, also called
your Ascendant, until you know your birth time and that Sign rising in
the East is calculated.
That is the start of what a “Horoscope” really is, the ‘hour-scope’.
It’s not the ‘month-scope’ or the ‘day-scope’. It is the scope, the
picture, of the moment you were born. It is calculated for a specific
day and year. You can fudge your age to others, but not to your
Astrologer. And, the Horoscope is calculated for a specific place on
the Earth, your birth town, and specific time of day. Obviously, this
is not the “horrible-scopes” found in the papers and elsewhere. More
later about those silly little degrees.
Nota Bene: Know what by when. You cannot know accurately what Check
Your Chart can forecast for you if your Birth Time is not accurate. Get
your Horoscope rectified by a competent Astrologer. Rectification is
the process Astrologers use to make sure your Horoscope fits you
precisely and that your Birth Time is accurate.
Send your e-mail address and Check Your Chart will be sent directly to you.
Know when and how you fit in. Send your birth data: your birth date,
place, and time. I will send it, and point out Your Four Personal
