My Friend John Rutherford is an astrologer - very good.
I shared a house with him from May
1993 to May 1998, on the shore of Burnaby Lake. We had a
wonderful time, and he taught me lots about Astrology. - Todd

Check Your Chart, for the Week of 2 January 2006
The weather and all the other stuff we can’t do anything about, that’s
what made 2005. Either it was the coldest (China in the last 20
years), hottest (Canada’s overall temperature), wettest (Alberta),
driest, whatever… Winds blew, the earth shook, and Mother Nature
was claiming her rightful place of power. Mess with her and there’s
a price to pay.
On a more subtle note, Science claimed Evolution as the story of the
year, not for any public or political reason, but for several key
advancements in knowledge, proving the pervasive reality of the concept
through so many disciplines of science. If only political systems
could also evolve.
Here we sit, with a coming election on our hands. I’ve said for
many years, the NDP has the rhetoric, the Tories have the programs, but
the Liberals have the leaders. Are the Libs the Natural Party of
Canada? What’s the alternative? The one-trick-pony of the
Bloc? Not a chance. Franken-harper? With ads that turn
off twice as many as he wants to wants to turn on, he needs his bolts
tightened. Jack Layton, Mister Perpetual Fourth Place? No
need to answer that one. Liberals by default? It seems
so. The only question is, “How big the minority?” Happy New
Year.
Nota Bene: Keywords are very helpful for understanding the
daily forecasts. For example, when Saturn is involved, first of all
think of slowing down. That’s taking the better side of his
influence. Each of the Planets have high and low forms of
_expression. Saturn’s down side is some form of “No!” So, if
you can take him slowly and steadily, he might say “Yes”.

This Week: Saturn might be slow, but Jupiter on his
well-pacified side just doesn’t give a damn, fast or slow. Neither
should you through Wednesday. Monday is rudder-less, but it’s also
a holiday. Memory and manners may do the same, as Mercury, the
Mind, aspects sloppy Jupiter. It then aspects Neptune Wednesday to
give that nagging reminder, but without anything solid to point at, still
who cares? Pretty little platitudes are all that’s left of this
week. Thank you Jupiter.
Monday, 2 January. (Moon in Aquarius. Sun aspects Uranus /
Neptune. 11-12 Card, 26-27 Fix)
Uranus wants to wake us up, Neptune wants to put us to sleep.
What’s the outcome? Confusion, if you were expecting anything at
all. Some fitfulness, if you weren’t.
(Mercury aspects Jupiter)
Watch what you say, perhaps through the next three days, if this hits
one of Your Four Personal Points. Sloppy words, or a
careless presentation, can make for a campaign you’d rather forget.
Tuesday, 3 January. (Moon in Pisces. Sun aspects Saturn /
Neptune. 12-13 Card, 27-28 Fix)
Slow and steady becomes smooth, slick. Expect to go long, so
you won’t come up short.
Wednesday, 4 January. (Moon in Pisces. Sun sextile
Jupiter. 13-14 degrees of All Signs)
Jupiter can be rude and blustery when aggravated. Not
today. So well mollified, thanks to the sextile, practically no
matter what you do, you’ll get away with it, but it better be right on
Your Degree.
(Mercury aspects Neptune. 1 Card, 16 Fix)
It’s what’s not said that says it all, silly. Can’t you read
between the lines? Take none of today at face value, but look for
the hidden motivation, probably selfish, at least a projection, probably
in Technicolor.
Friday, 6 January. (Moon in Aries. Sun aspects Mercury /
Venus. 15-16 Card, 29 Fix-0 Mut)
So light, frivolous, cute and quick. Blah, blah, blah, but it’s
all sweet, even if empty calories.
Sunday, 8 January. (Moon in Taurus. Mercury sextile
Uranus. 8 degrees of All Signs)
Like a cuppa on a foggy Monday morn, this should be a welcome
eye-opener and pick-me-up. Be one of them “lerts” and stay
there.
If you want the "horrible-scopes", go somewhere else. If
you want the meaning behind them, stay on.
Is your Number up? Check Your Four Personal Points for
every day, see below. If the numbers match, this day is for
you.
Each forecast shows: the Moon Sign, the Planetary Aspect, and Numbers
of degrees in Signs for the Planetary Aspect.
The Moon Sign is the Sign the Moon is in for that day.
The Moon Sign gives advantage to the Sign it is in, puts extra
pressure on the opposite Sign, and tends to cross up or neutralise the
Signs at right angles. For example, with Fixed Signs, if the Moon
is in Taurus, Taurus has the advantage, Scorpio gets challenged, and Leo
and Aquarius get shifted or crossed up.
The Planetary Aspect is where action is released. It's the
Excuse. Unlike daily Horoscopes that suggest each day has the same
level of influence, this is the core of changes in the daily
energies.
The Sign Numbers are the degrees in the Signs of the Zodiac being
emphasised. If the degree for any day is close to any degree of
Your Four Personal Points (see below), within a degree or so, THIS
IS YOUR DAY. Pay extra ATTENTION.
You may have several days in the week activated for you, or you may have
none. As a degree hits one of Your Four Personal Points, the
forecast tells about the important things in your life. The daily
forecasts tell you when. The overall story comes through over
time. Sooner or later, the degrees of the Forecast catch up to
you.
Your Four Personal Points are, in order of importance:
The Ascendant, the Mid-heaven, the Moon, and the
Sun.
These are the most important Points of your Horoscope, calculated
from your birth date, your birth-place, and the time of day you drew your
first breath. The first two Personal Points, the Ascendant
and Mid-heaven, are the points that fix the
Earth in space for your birth time at your specific birth
place. We live on the Earth, not the Sun or the Moon. The
Ascendant, also called Your Rising Sign, is more important
than your Sun Sign.
Simply, and generally only, forecasts that affect your:
Ascendant relate to matters in your
environment. Use it to see what's in your "face".
Mid-heaven relate to matters in your personal
life. Use it to see what's in your mind.
Moon
relate to matters in your emotional life. Use it to see
what's in your heart.
Sun
relate to matters in your physical
life. Use it to see what's in
your core.
The Signs of the Zodiac are:
Card: Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
Fix: Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
Mut: Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
Heaven, Help Us! The forecast is the mood of the
moment. For example, if it rains, we all get wet, no matter
what "Sign" we are.
If you like this forecast, let others know. SEND IT TO THEM.
If you have comments or questions, LET ME KNOW. Check Your Four
Personal Points each week if any of them is targeted, and...
