John Rutherford's Check Your Chart, for the Week of 30 October, 2006
Just in time for All Hallowed Eve, last week came in two main
flavours. The first was a black liquorice streaked with red.
And second, the garish, gritty green of envy.
Flavour One was based on Mercury conjunct Jupiter, both square
Saturn, through the 22nd and 23rd, with the giants
exactly square Wednesday, the 25th. Itis major stuff
when major Planets are involved. All considerations, decisions and
statements (Mercury) take on extra importance. Though they may have
been good (Jupiter) on paper, or supported well enough at the time, they
face, or faced, resistance from various kinds of karmic, cultural, or
social "debt". Liquorice flavour laced with red tape.
And, all of a sudden (yeah, sure), the news was filled with
examples. Ottawa wanted to send sailors and flyguys to
Afghanistan. Taken back. Iggy wants to recognise Quebec as a
nation, though not necessarily sovereign. Itis splitting the
party. Duceppe says Quebec will be sovereign by 2015. Bring
the troops home now where theyire needed!
India, Asiais oldest democracy, finally passed a law to protect
women. We'll see how well this fares in a country where
fumble-mentalists still approve of violence and neglect toward women,
children and the lower casts. Quebec is finally getting tough with
unlicensed evangelical schools not following the provincial curriculum,
particularly about evolution. Sure, when an Alberta evangelical
school superintendent says, "We do teach the theory of evolution and we
teach the truth of creation." No small resistance there.
And, of all the cheek, Rush Limbaugh said Michael J. Fox is faking his
Parkinson's? What can you expect from a bombastic brain-dead
(stationary Mercury square stationary Saturn in his Horrid-scope)
bigot? It makes the fight to save the Eaglecrest Golf Course from
developers in Qualicum tepid in comparison.
Flavour Two was based on Venus conjunct the Sun on the far
side. The green-eyed goddess of vanity took numerous swipes across
lost faces. As a bridge between both flavours, the top Aussie imam
compared women without the hijab to uncovered meat tempting stray
cats. He said women were 'weapons' used by Satan to control
men. Who's controlling whom here? Grow up. And, as for
the "high school romance" gone wrong, Peter MacKay's spiteful sniping at
cross-over Belinda, well, he just won't talk about it, even though 8
people swear they heard him call her a dog. Meeow!
Nota Bene: Lunations, Full Moons and New Moons, are Cosmic "punctuation marks", but so are Planetary aspects. Pay
Attention to both!

This week: The Heavens givieth. The Heavens taketh
away. So says retrograde Mercury as it backs over the Jupiter '
Saturn square Monday ' Wednesday. Last week's grand-standers may
have crow to eat as facts and comparisons pile up.
Tis a time
of learning, perhaps the hard way. What's in the brain needs to
be translated into behaviour for real learning to happen. Mere
lip-service will be served back on a platter.
Venus
and the Sun trine Uranus Wednesday and Friday to help the negotiations
and smooth the integrations. But then, if you want to get stubborn
about it, bitchy fury. What a waste as we approach a perigee Full
Moon, fuller than most. Fight means failure. Smiles, even
painted on smiles, get along. File down the fangs. Halloween
is over.
Monday - Wednesday, 30 October-1 November. (Moon in late
Aquarius, Pisces. Retrograde Mercury conjunct Jupiter square
Saturn. 24 degrees of all Fixed Signs, 9 Mutable)
Hush yo mouf, and let others do the blabbing. The more said,
the more lost. Trying to explain at this late date looks
suspicious. And, don't confuse you with the facts? But, you
said it! Play it again and again, Sam.
Halloween, 31 October. (Moon in Pisces. Sun aspects Mars /
Uranus. 8 degrees Fixed, 23 Mutable)
A little play, a few pranks, will loosen you up. Keep the
humour to keep it safe. Satan fears God's laughter more than God's
wrath.
Wednesday and Friday, 1 & 3 November. (Moon in Pisces and
Aries. Venus, then the Sun, trine Uranus. 10 degrees of All
Signs)
Will you be my friend? Uranus gets anxious without some
display of camaraderie. He doesnt care the depth, just that its
there somewhere. Its an opening to trust, at least.
Sunday, 5 November. (Swift Full Moon in Taurus. Sun
aspects Mars / Neptune and Venus Uranus. 12-13 degrees Fixed, 27-28
Mutable)
As at arms length the feelings should have stayed through most of
this week, now make it personal. Not pushy or strong, but
delicate and sensitive. Not rowdy, raucous or brash, but
cordial. Drip some honey on your honey, you rascal.
If you want the "horrible-scopes", go somewhere else.
If you want the meaning behind them, stay on.
Is your Number up? Check Your Four Personal Points for
every day, see below. If the numbers match, this day is for
you.
Each forecast shows: the Moon Sign, the Planetary Aspect, and Numbers
of degrees in Signs for the Planetary Aspect.
The Moon Sign is the Sign the Moon is in for that day.
The Moon Sign gives advantage to the Sign it is in, puts extra
pressure on the opposite Sign, and tends to cross up or neutralise the
Signs at right angles. For example, with Fixed Signs, if the Moon
is in Taurus, Taurus has the advantage, Scorpio gets challenged, and Leo
and Aquarius get shifted or crossed up.
The Planetary Aspect is where action is released. It's the
Excuse. Unlike daily Horoscopes that suggest each day has the same
level of influence, this is the core of changes in the daily
energies.
The Sign Numbers are the degrees in the Signs of the Zodiac being
emphasised. If the degree for any day is close to any degree of
Your Four Personal Points (see below), within a degree or so, THIS
IS YOUR DAY. Pay extra ATTENTION.
You may have several days in the week activated for you, or you may have
none. As a degree hits one of Your Four Personal Points, the
forecast tells about the important things in your life. The daily
forecasts tell you when. The overall story comes through over
time. Sooner or later, the degrees of the Forecast catch up to
you.
Your Four Personal Points are, in order of importance:
The Ascendant, the Mid-heaven, the Moon, and the
Sun.
These are the most important Points of your Horoscope, calculated
from your birth date, your birth-place, and the time of day you drew your
first breath. The first two Personal Points, the Ascendant
and Mid-heaven, are the points that fix the
Earth in space for your birth time at your specific birth
place. We live on the Earth, not the Sun or the Moon. The
Ascendant, also called Your Rising Sign, is more important
than your Sun Sign.
Simply, and generally only, forecasts that affect your:
Ascendant relate to matters in your
environment. Use it to see what's in your "face".
Mid-heaven relate to matters in your personal
life. Use it to see what's in your mind.
Moon
relate to matters in your emotional life. Use it to see
what's in your heart.
Sun
relate to matters in your physical
life. Use it to see what's in
your core.
The Signs of the Zodiac are:
Card: Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
Fix: Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
Mut: Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
Heaven, Help Us! The forecast is the mood of the
moment. For example, if it rains, we all get wet, no matter
what "Sign" we are.
If you like this forecast, let others know. SEND IT TO THEM.
If you have comments or questions, LET ME KNOW. Check Your Four
Personal Points each week if any of them is targeted, and...
