 Saltwater City Television: Highlights of Media Scrum on Head Tax issues with Minister Bev Oda This is great stuff if you have been following the Chinese Canadian Head Tax issue. Sid Tan is producer of Saltwater City Television which follows issues of interest to multi-generation Chinese Canadian pioneer descendants (like myself). Gee... I can even be seen in this week's show, as I joined Sid and many others in the protest against the Liberal government's deal with the National Congress of Chinese Canadians, to sign an "Agreement-in-Principle" for No Apology, and No Compensation, and only $2.5 Million to set up community programs, in comparison to the more than $336 Million that was given to the Japanese Canadians in their 1988 Redress settelement, as they budgeted for $21,000 for each of 16,000 individuals..
