CHECK YOUR CHART
for the Week of 30 January 2006
Let’s hear it for: The Revenge of the Little Guy. More to follow
this week, much more. Yeah, the little guy, the disadvantaged, and
all those who feel that way. Jupiter represents the big, the bold,
the grand, and those in command. Neptune represents the distant,
the lonely and neglected, the disaffected, and too often “the little
people”. The square between them shows discordance, a clash,
between these two. The big guys and the little guys just aren’t
getting along.
Our election was not so much a win for the Harper, and it wasn’t a win
with a majority, as it was Martin going into Satan mode, trying
desperately to demonise Harper. Who wants a leader who’s in any way
desperate? It doesn’t look good, no matter the qualifications, and
leadership is as much about showmanship as anything else. How many
win just by looking cool, calm and collected?
Hamas stayed cool and collected the majority vote in Palestine.
Feeling long bullied by Israel and its huge supporter, the US, but jilted
by Fatah and its blatant corruption, Palestinians voted for change,
too. In the macho world of Middle East politics, you have to black
the other guy’s eye to get any attention, just like Egypt and the Six Day
War. Egypt lost, but won negotiating status by my making the
attempt. Hamas won. Now, what will they do once the Fatah
gunfire dies down? Sitting behind the wheel is very different from
barking directions from the back seat. For starters, there’s all
that other traffic to watch out for, and the US is a mega-truck.
Neptune can often act like a spider web, ready to entangle, sure, but
also sending tendrils everywhere, much like a network. Jupiter
square Neptune has shown clashes between “boss-powers”, governments, and
“web managers”, Google and Yahoo. They said “no” to Big Brother
Bush and are fighting the data invasion of privacy. But, on the
other hand, Google is on thin ice by offering to self-censor in
China. China has a multi-millennial long history of absorbing
invaders. Google will probably lose and leave in the long run, like
so many others.
I could go on about gas guzzlers painted into a corner, as Ford radically
down sizes, or NASA climate scientists getting hushed over views of
global warming, or “King Arthur” spouting off enough to become our only
independent MP. But, one story epitomises Jupiter / Neptune.
It’s about the budding story-teller seeking to trade up, from a paperclip
to a house. He’s already moved up to a cube van. Go,
oneredpaperclip.com!
Nota Bene: If you don’t know your birth time, don’t
worry. The mark of a capable and competent Astrologer is the
ability to find where in your birth day of 24 hours that you fit.
It’s called rectification. It has to fit you and it has to fit you
precisely, right to the minute, or your Astrologer should not be
satisfied.

This Week: Endless trivial pursuits through Wednesday.
Mercury, the Mind, aligns with Neptune, the Lost. It also squares
Jupiter for mountains of bafflegab. What a load of bull-fertilised
promises. Can you stand it?
Not well it seems, as Venus, the vain Miss Piggy, burns a testy hole in
her part of the sky Friday. Seething resentments won’t be long
denied. As Sunday rolls around, an eager need to know meets the
lack of energy to find it, as do verbal clashes over deeply entrenched
attitudes. Only sneaky tricks or stunts win.
Wednesday, 1 February. (Moon in late Pisces, early Aries.
Sun aspects Jupiter square Neptune / Saturn, then Venus / Uranus.
12 Fix, 27 Mut)
Either it’s the breaks being put on this runaway train, or the stark
realisation something is out of control. Sorry to dash your pipe
dream, bucko, but we could all use some co-operation here.
(Mercury conjunct Neptune, square Jupiter. 17 Fix, 2 Card)
“Are we there yet, are we there yet… ?” Hey, kid, we
ain’t even out the driveway. Already with the excessive
expectations of the impossible. This does give a voice to the
Little Guy in the back seat, and the driver will have to change course or
suffer lots of interruptions.
Friday, 3 February. (Moon in late Aries, early Taurus.
Venus stationary in Capricorn. 16 Card, 1 Mut)
Statues are to be admired, set rigid in a public place, but aren’t
cuddly. A firebrand stuck in place will scorch a long lasting
mark. If only overly hot or overly cold would shift a little.
Saturday – Sunday, 4-5 February. (Moon in Taurus to early
Gemini. Sun aspects Mars / Saturn, Mars / Uranus, Venus / Jupiter,
and aligns with Neptune. 15-17 Fix, 0-2 Card)
Pardon the technicalities but the midpoint aspects above are, in
order, hard, soft, soft, and important. The Mars / Saturn aspect is
approaching Neptune, too, so even hard work gets little
recognition. Many, after this, will take even greater risks of
confrontation. “We’ll do anything to get recognised.” At
least the Venus / Jupiter doesn’t let too many get hurt in the
process.
(Mercury square Mars. 24 Fix, 9 Card)
A fair debate would clear the air, but if it’s for making a social or
political statement, why, it’s enough to bring a tear to the eye.
So, who peeled the onions?
If you want the "horrible-scopes", go somewhere else. If
you want the meaning behind them, stay on.
Is your Number up? Check Your Four Personal Points for
every day, see below. If the numbers match, this day is for
you.
Each forecast shows: the Moon Sign, the Planetary Aspect, and Numbers
of degrees in Signs for the Planetary Aspect.
The Moon Sign is the Sign the Moon is in for that day.
The Moon Sign gives advantage to the Sign it is in, puts extra
pressure on the opposite Sign, and tends to cross up or neutralise the
Signs at right angles. For example, with Fixed Signs, if the Moon
is in Taurus, Taurus has the advantage, Scorpio gets challenged, and Leo
and Aquarius get shifted or crossed up.
The Planetary Aspect is where action is released. It's the
Excuse. Unlike daily Horoscopes that suggest each day has the same
level of influence, this is the core of changes in the daily
energies.
The Sign Numbers are the degrees in the Signs of the Zodiac being
emphasised. If the degree for any day is close to any degree of
Your Four Personal Points (see below), within a degree or so, THIS
IS YOUR DAY. Pay extra ATTENTION.
You may have several days in the week activated for you, or you may have
none. As a degree hits one of Your Four Personal Points, the
forecast tells about the important things in your life. The daily
forecasts tell you when. The overall story comes through over
time. Sooner or later, the degrees of the Forecast catch up to
you.
Your Four Personal Points are, in order of importance:
The Ascendant, the Mid-heaven, the Moon, and the
Sun.
These are the most important Points of your Horoscope, calculated
from your birth date, your birth-place, and the time of day you drew your
first breath. The first two Personal Points, the Ascendant
and Mid-heaven, are the points that fix the
Earth in space for your birth time at your specific birth
place. We live on the Earth, not the Sun or the Moon. The
Ascendant, also called Your Rising Sign, is more important
than your Sun Sign.
Simply, and generally only, forecasts that affect your:
Ascendant relate to matters in your
environment. Use it to see what's in your "face".
Mid-heaven relate to matters in your personal
life. Use it to see what's in your mind.
Moon
relate to matters in your emotional life. Use it to see
what's in your heart.
Sun
relate to matters in your physical
life. Use it to see what's in
your core.
The Signs of the Zodiac are:
Card: Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
Fix: Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
Mut: Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
Heaven, Help Us! The forecast is the mood of the
moment. For example, if it rains, we all get wet, no matter
what "Sign" we are.
If you like this forecast, let others know. SEND IT TO THEM.
If you have comments or questions, LET ME KNOW. Check Your Four
Personal Points each week if any of them is targeted, and...
