John Rutherford's
Check Your Chart
for the Week of 27 February 2006
Mars rules not only pain, as per last week, but fear, typically of the
unknown, and revenge. Get locked up in it and so often what you
desire turns into its opposite. Want to keep your honey
close? Get jealous, push everyone away to keep him or her “safe”
and what happens? You’ve closed yourself off from all other loved
ones and that special one has no choice but to leave, along with the
rest. Follow your passion to any extreme and whatever is done to
extreme leads to destruction. Passion means suffering.
The news has presented it wrong. The main story last week,
aside from “Four Medals and a Funeral”, was: the Shiite’s Golden Mosque
in Samarra was blown up and a riot started. That’s far too
shallow. It had no context. There is no picture without a
setting.
Attacks and bombings of Shiite shrines had gone on for three days with
its own brand of vengeance, right on queue after the Sun squared the God
of War. Understand too that the Shiites have been royally slighted
under the Sunni leader, Saddam. One neighbourhood got paved roads,
the other did not, one guy got promoted, the other got shot, and so on,
for decades. Not fair at all, but this is real life, not some
fundamentalist fantasy.
Enough already. Now was the time to get even. It wasn’t a
riot but an all out war of reprisal. Over a hundred Sunni mosques
were bombed in return. So much for developing a democracy.
This was the greatest moment of violence in Iraq since the beginning of
the war, or “the US incursion”, since the current round of this mess
began in 2003. It’s time to get out of Dodge, cowboy. Rummy’s
War called for too few troops to put down the stamp of control at the
start. Speaking of Mars trying too hard to be in control, you can’t
lose what you never had. Just to punctuate that, and along the same
Global meridian, Mozambique rocked in a quake of 7.5, just 18 hours
later. What a brutal release. And, you thought you had a
tough week.
Nota Bene: So, where are the Planets in your
Horrible-scope? It’s about much more than the Sign the Sun was in
the Month you were born. It’s about the exact date and time.

This Week: The New Moon brings things closer to “home”,
drawing in and con-solid-ating. The Wild and Crazy Guy,
Uranus, is consumed in Solar fire. Mercury, the Mouth, stands
still. The bold Fat Boy does too. One way and another,
numerous things will come to a halt this week. Too bad it’s about
dialogue and consideration. Yup, there’s a time and place for
everything under the Sun.
Monday - Tuesday, 27-28 February. (New Moon in Pisces, conjunct
Uranus. 9 Mut, 24 Card)
Now for something completely different, please, because if you get
stubborn and dig in your heels, this will pop wide open before the week
is through. Uranus should be Mister Neutral, taking none of this
personally. There lies the way to any kind of deal. You do
want a deal, don’t you?
Tuesday, 28 February. (Moon in Pisces. Mars in Gemini
sextile Saturn. 5 degrees of All Signs)
Slow to start, slow to finish, with lots of tolerance built in.
Be sure you’re not one of the slaves in the hold lashed to an oar.
It should be a hard fight earning respect, achieving a solid
position.
(Mercury in Pisces sextile Venus. 26 degrees of All Signs)
Differing from last week’s sextile, since what Mercury delivers now
could easily be taken back, watch for the loopholes in what’s
offered. Too much butter on old, over-dry toast.
Thursday, 2 March. (Moon in Aries. Sun conjunct Uranus,
aspects Saturn / Neptune. 10-11 Mut, 25-26 Card)
Change on a slippery slope, or rebuilding on damaged ground, require
a slow, careful pace and placement. Facts alone are not
enough. Follow the feel of this, avoid over-analysis, and make your
move after the 18th.
(Mercury stationary in Pisces. 26 Mut, 11 Fix)
More thick in the head than usual, stumble-tongued, and with beans in
the ears, what a sight! Curiously linked with Jupiter (qv), no
matter the brilliance and charm, this needs stay under wraps. Like
a good stew with lots of sauce, the longer left in the pot, the
better.
Saturday, 4 March. (Moon in Taurus. Jupiter
stationary. 18 Fix, 3 Card)
All dressed up, a place to go, but the buggy is busted. As
Mercury aims but misses, Jupiter wants to woo but won’t. Filled
with enticements, the sporran stays snapped. Actually, this preps a
bold push early May.
Sunday, 5 March. (Moon in Gemini. Sun aspects Jupiter /
Uranus. 14-15 Mut, 29 Card, 0 Fix)
Normally cause for fun and games, a natural mixer, a party, Uranus is
burned out and Jupiter is stuck. The same deadhead buddies, and the
plastic has hit the limit. Bummer. Make your own
entertainment.
If you want the "horrible-scopes", go somewhere else. If
you want the meaning behind them, stay on.
Is your Number up? Check Your Four Personal Points for
every day, see below. If the numbers match, this day is for
you.
Each forecast shows: the Moon Sign, the Planetary Aspect, and Numbers
of degrees in Signs for the Planetary Aspect.
The Moon Sign is the Sign the Moon is in for that day.
The Moon Sign gives advantage to the Sign it is in, puts extra
pressure on the opposite Sign, and tends to cross up or neutralise the
Signs at right angles. For example, with Fixed Signs, if the Moon
is in Taurus, Taurus has the advantage, Scorpio gets challenged, and Leo
and Aquarius get shifted or crossed up.
The Planetary Aspect is where action is released. It's the
Excuse. Unlike daily Horoscopes that suggest each day has the same
level of influence, this is the core of changes in the daily
energies.
The Sign Numbers are the degrees in the Signs of the Zodiac being
emphasised. If the degree for any day is close to any degree of
Your Four Personal Points (see below), within a degree or so, THIS
IS YOUR DAY. Pay extra ATTENTION.
You may have several days in the week activated for you, or you may have
none. As a degree hits one of Your Four Personal Points, the
forecast tells about the important things in your life. The daily
forecasts tell you when. The overall story comes through over
time. Sooner or later, the degrees of the Forecast catch up to
you.
Your Four Personal Points are, in order of importance:
The Ascendant, the Mid-heaven, the Moon, and the
Sun.
These are the most important Points of your Horoscope, calculated
from your birth date, your birth-place, and the time of day you drew your
first breath. The first two Personal Points, the Ascendant
and Mid-heaven, are the points that fix the
Earth in space for your birth time at your specific birth
place. We live on the Earth, not the Sun or the Moon. The
Ascendant, also called Your Rising Sign, is more important
than your Sun Sign.
Simply, and generally only, forecasts that affect your:
Ascendant relate to matters in your
environment. Use it to see what's in your "face".
Mid-heaven relate to matters in your personal
life. Use it to see what's in your mind.
Moon
relate to matters in your emotional life. Use it to see
what's in your heart.
Sun
relate to matters in your physical
life. Use it to see what's in
your core.
The Signs of the Zodiac are:
Card: Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
Fix: Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
Mut: Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
Heaven, Help Us! The forecast is the mood of the
moment. For example, if it rains, we all get wet, no matter
what "Sign" we are.
If you like this forecast, let others know. SEND IT TO THEM.
If you have comments or questions, LET ME KNOW. Check Your Four
Personal Points each week if any of them is targeted, and...
