John Rutherford's
Check Your Chart, for the Week of 11 September, 2006
Practically nothing newsworthy for days and days on the national or
international level, then both Mercury and the Sun opposed Giant Planet
Uranus and surprise, surprise, all kinds of weird, idiosyncratic stories
come springing out of the woodwork.
Stingrays don’t kill people, but, crikey, Steve Irwin sure got
barbed. Suri Cruise was in deep hiding, then comes out with a
splash in Vanity Fair looking like a miniature Elvis with that head of
hair. Kiko’s baby lets the Nippon traditionalists breathe in
relief, the 1st male heir in 40n years.
Bold Bull,
Michael Ignatieff, came out charging with a platform full of challenges
to our constitution, each one a threat of years, if not decades, of
debate. Boy, he didn’t go to school just to be head of the debating
team, did he? Sun and Mercury opposed big and pushy Jupiter in his
Horoscope demands more and more, even if he steps all over rival
Liberals.
Speaking of idiosyncrats stepping all over others, Bush’s PR blitz to
save his Uranus was forced to admit CIA “black sites” exist, and
prisoners deserve Geneva treatment. If only the new Gitmo 14 knew
what the charges are, much less the evidence.
With
Iran’s defiance, mass defiance to the now official Mexican president,
bloody defiance in Baghdad to any rule of law, and Afghan friendly fire,
being a Bush Buddy doesn’t help these days. Bush’s Poodle, Tony
Blair is falling fast, with a full scale revolt on his hands, led by his
finance minister. Sound familiar? Think Paul Martin.
Then came
the Full Moon and lunacy prevailed. Fill in your own examples.
The Dalai
Lama recently said here in Vancouver that peace and happiness come
through inclusiveness, not by intolerance and division. No matter
how big and brutal the differences, military might has never brought
peace. Even the tribal Pashtun (think Taliban) recently agreed to
accommodations in Pakistan through negotiations, not force.
Do you
feel safer these days? Have you had enough of wars on
everything. Let’s have peace rallies, not anti-war rallies.
Construct, not destruct. Please note, Vancouver is now home for the
Dalai Lama Centre for Peace and Education. Watch “Happy Night in
Canada” on CBC Tuesday at 5:30, or CBC Newsworld on the 22nd
at 5, 8 or 11pm PT. “Make love, not war” really works.
Nota Bene: We too often play the blame game, whereas many
disturbances come from the Heavens, and we get tired, accusing each
other. A little consideration, please, of natural forces, and not
such intolerance for your loved-one’s fatigue.

This Week: Hurt feelings stir a lot of resentment as Mars,
then Mercury, aspect a useless Neptune and a bitter Saturn. What
can you really do about it? Not much without co-operation, a
brilliant idea at the best of times. At Sunspot Minimum, this ain’t
it. Even the Sun’s energies stay fitful and fractured through the
weekend.
Monday, 11 September. (Moon in Taurus. Mars aspects
Neptune. 2 Card, 17 Fix)
Not enough feathers on this wing. Even for a good cause, this
won’t fly high. You’re fighting shadows, some of your own
making. Look in the mirror. Take the slow boat.
Tuesday, 12 September. (Moon in late Taurus, early Gemini.
Mercury aspects Jupiter. 0 Card, 15 Fix)
Don’t use big words you can’t handle. The same goes for
over-inflated ideas. This is the bridge from last week’s complex,
into this week’s. Getting complicated, isn’t it?
Thursday, 14 September. (Moon in Gemini. Mercury aspects
Neptune and Jupiter / Saturn. 2 Card, 17 Fix)
Another Giant Planet complex. Neptune weakens the ties that
bind, along with sensible rules and regs. Laws (Jupiter) without
rules and measures (Saturn), order wilfully imposed. Mercury
triggers desperate dictates, or is it just nonsense?
Friday, 15 September. (Moon in Cancer. Mercury conjunct
Mars, both aspect Saturn. Venus opposed Uranus, aspect Mercury-Mars
/ Saturn. 4 Card, 19 Fix, 12 Mut, 27 Card)
Even more complex. Strong, harsh words meet stubborn
resistance. A rush to reconcile brings more clashes than
solutions. Careful considerations seem in short supply. A big
smile full of sharp teeth. A marriage made in Hell.
Saturday, 16 September. (Moon in late Cancer. Sun square
Pluto, aspects Mars / Uranus. 24 Mut, 9 Fix)
A sop to traditionalists, this Pluto aspect. The meat is still
thin and dry with the rulers of anarchy, Mars and Uranus. Go your
own way, no followers, or face rankle in the ranks.
If you want the "horrible-scopes", go somewhere else.
If you want the meaning behind them, stay on.
Is your Number up? Check Your Four Personal Points for
every day, see below. If the numbers match, this day is for
you.
Each forecast shows: the Moon Sign, the Planetary Aspect, and Numbers
of degrees in Signs for the Planetary Aspect.
The Moon Sign is the Sign the Moon is in for that day.
The Moon Sign gives advantage to the Sign it is in, puts extra
pressure on the opposite Sign, and tends to cross up or neutralise the
Signs at right angles. For example, with Fixed Signs, if the Moon
is in Taurus, Taurus has the advantage, Scorpio gets challenged, and Leo
and Aquarius get shifted or crossed up.
The Planetary Aspect is where action is released. It's the
Excuse. Unlike daily Horoscopes that suggest each day has the same
level of influence, this is the core of changes in the daily
energies.
The Sign Numbers are the degrees in the Signs of the Zodiac being
emphasised. If the degree for any day is close to any degree of
Your Four Personal Points (see below), within a degree or so, THIS
IS YOUR DAY. Pay extra ATTENTION.
You may have several days in the week activated for you, or you may have
none. As a degree hits one of Your Four Personal Points, the
forecast tells about the important things in your life. The daily
forecasts tell you when. The overall story comes through over
time. Sooner or later, the degrees of the Forecast catch up to
you.
Your Four Personal Points are, in order of importance:
The Ascendant, the Mid-heaven, the Moon, and the
Sun.
These are the most important Points of your Horoscope, calculated
from your birth date, your birth-place, and the time of day you drew your
first breath. The first two Personal Points, the Ascendant
and Mid-heaven, are the points that fix the
Earth in space for your birth time at your specific birth
place. We live on the Earth, not the Sun or the Moon. The
Ascendant, also called Your Rising Sign, is more important
than your Sun Sign.
Simply, and generally only, forecasts that affect your:
Ascendant relate to matters in your
environment. Use it to see what's in your "face".
Mid-heaven relate to matters in your personal
life. Use it to see what's in your mind.
Moon
relate to matters in your emotional life. Use it to see
what's in your heart.
Sun
relate to matters in your physical
life. Use it to see what's in
your core.
The Signs of the Zodiac are:
Card: Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
Fix: Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
Mut: Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
Heaven, Help Us! The forecast is the mood of the
moment. For example, if it rains, we all get wet, no matter
what "Sign" we are.
If you like this forecast, let others know. SEND IT TO THEM.
If you have comments or questions, LET ME KNOW. Check Your Four
Personal Points each week if any of them is targeted, and...
